XoMotion™ is a next generation exoskeleton platform designed for individuals with lower extremity motor deficits.
It’s the first device of its kind to mimic the physiological motion of the lower extremity, giving the user the ability to perform all complex mobility tasks.
XoMotion’s advanced sensor systems and multi-modal controllers allow the user to quickly gain hands-free functionality, providing an unprecedented level of freedom and independence.

Inspired to overcome the limitations of existing, non-self-balancing exoskeletons, longtime academic collaborators Dr. Park and Dr. Arzanpour joined forces in 2014 to develop the next generation of exoskeleton technology.
Following the creation of early self-balancing prototypes at Simon Fraser University, Human in Motion Robotics was formed in 2016 to pursue commercialization of the XoMotion™ Platform as well as other innovative robotic healthcare solutions.
HMR received Series A funding with lead investor, Korean-based Beno Holdings, in 2023 to scale operations and accelerate product development to pursue regulatory clearance of the XoMotion™ platform.
Building a team of talented engineers, medical experts and management professionals at our offices in Vancouver, Canada and Seoul, South Korea, HMR is now poised to deliver market leading robotic solution to help improve the lives of millions of people around the world.
